The IIMC Foundation was created in 1984 to raise funds for IIMC. These funds are used to promote, train and educate Municipal Clerks to make them proficient in the services they provide for the citizens of their community. One of the many ways he IIMC Foundation helps IIMC members is through education scholarships and grant programs.

If you have been a recipient of an IIMC Foundation Scholarship or Grant, please consider giving back by making a small tax-deductible donation ensuring that current and future generations of Municipal Clerks receive the education that they need to provide for the communities in which they live and serve. This scholarship program has been designed to assist with the costs of attending an IIMC approved in-person or virtual Institute or Academy program for those working toward IIMC's professional designations. Don't know where to find your local Institute or Academy? Find the program information here.
The scholarship program was established in 1986 for Clerks attending IIMC Institutes. Since the program's inception, more than 1,534 scholarships have been awarded.
Former Ohio Institute Director and Foundation Board Member Jim Tinnin, created a restricted endowment to fund a scholarship program specifically designed to support online learning offered by IIMC or IIMC Institutes/Academies.
The application period for a grant to attend the 2024 IIMC annual conference in Calgary, Alberta, Canada closed on February 12, 2024.
The Conference Grant Program is designed to allow 2 IIMC members from each of IIMC's regions to attend the IIMC Annual Conference each May. If awarded a grant, IIMC Foundation will cover the cost of your IIMC Annual Conference Registration.
