Jim Tinnin Online Scholarship Program

Former Ohio Institute Director and Foundation Board Member Jim Tinnin, created a restricted endowment to fund a scholarship program specifically designed to support online learning offered by IIMC or IIMC Institutes/Academies.

This program annually offers two eligible IIMC Members in each Region (I through XI) an opportunity to receive a $100 scholarship that can be applied toward registration expenses for any of the existing online learning opportunities found on the IIMC website.  Athenian Dialogues do not meet the guidelines for this endowment program.

Applicants must have an Admission for CMC or MMC Application on file with IIMC and be active members.  If the number of applications exceeds available funds, recipients will be selected by random draw.  The Foundation may award additional scholarships dependent upon funding availability.

Twenty-two recipients were notified for funding of online programs completed January 1 through December 31, 2024.  Reimbursement occurs after completion of the online program.

The application period closed on November 15, 2023, for scholarship use during the 2024 calendar year.
