Beverly Smith City of Burlington Beverly is the glue that has held administration together over the past five years. With three different City Manager changes over the past two years, serving as the "interim" city clerk for over three years until officially appointed City Clerk in 2023 - Beverly has been that constant force that has given stability to City Administration over the past five years. Beverly is well respected and appreciated by all in City Government. She is the "go to" for our City Council, as she guides them and supports them fully. It truly is a pleasure to come to work to see her enthusiasm for the job, the staff, and our City. NC
Beverly Turner Town of Gila Bend Beverly Turner has served the Gila Bend community for over 30 years and knows the Town of Gila Bend inside and out. I have witnessed Beverly's passion for her career as an MMC and serving our community and its residents and I am grateful to have the opportunity to learn from her. As we know, clerks often wear many hats in the communities they serve, and Beverly is a perfect example whether it be HR, economic development, project administration, or helping to manage the town (just to name a few) all while maintaining her clerk duties serving the Council. She is the go-to for everyone for any question or situation that arises and will go above and beyond to do all she can to help. Beverly plans to retire soon but her service to the community will not end there. Beverly will be active in her community for years to come and will have so much more to contribute. For these reasons I believe Beverly Turner deserves a spot on the Wall Of Honor. Arizona
